Admissions > General Information > Application Procedure > Application Procedure
1. Submission of application
Applications can only be considered once a fully completed application form, which can be downloaded from this website, has been submitted along with all the requested supporting documents. As places generally fill up quickly, early application is advised. We acknowledge by email the receipt of the documents within three working days.

A campus tour can be arranged once a complete application has been received and passed the initial screening stage. If we invite your child for English, French or German assessments, you may prefer to have a campus tour the same day.
2. Review of documents and assessments
If an application is complete, it is reviewed by the registrar then sent to the academic head of the school section. We may also request that the applicant comes for an interview and / or language assessment. In years eight and above, it is sometimes also necessary to take maths and science assessments. English language assessments for applicants who are already residing in Taiwan are held in March for entry at the start of the next academic year, and December or January for entry early in the new calendar year if place becomes available. Language assessments for entry to the French Section in the next academic year are held in May, and German language assessments are conducted by individual arrangement with the German Section. For entrance into the British Nursery, a "tryout session" must be arranged through the Admissions Department before a place can be offered.
3. Result of application
The result of an application is in most cases confirmed by email no later than ten days following assessment or interview, whichever is latest.  However, applicants taking assessment in March may have to wait up to one month.  Places in school are offered according to a combination of factors which includes review of previous school reports, results of assessments, availability of places, and, when applicable, our ability to provide language support or to meet special education needs. Successful applicants are put on the waiting list for any year group that is currently full. Similar procedures apply for all school sections.
4. Enrolment
Following the offer of a place in school, arrangements for enrolment are made, including cafeteria and transportation services if requested and available. An invoice is then sent out to the invoice address, and enrolment is complete upon payment of all due fees.
5. Academic probation policy
During a student’s first three months of school, he or she is subject to our academic probation policy.
6. Reapplication
Applicants who do not reach the required language level in their assessments may reapply, and will be invited for further assessments once places become available and a testing session has been scheduled. This must be at least six months after the previous test. A reapplication fee is payable immediately and the assessment fee will be payable on the next assessment day.
