Our students' journeys are unique and choices are made by the students, based on their curiosity, their interests, their core individual strengths and their independent choices and experiences. Whether it be through performing arts, sports, debate, school magazine, or any of the myriad of activities - the choice is in their hands!
The academic achievements of the students in each Section of the school are paramount and the teaching staff take great pride in the efforts made by our students to be their best. Providing the conditions for this is a key aspect of our efforts. Flourishing is defined as 'functioning at our best'. Our emphasis on wellbeing is key to our community's individual successes. We have rigorous pastoral care systems and professional counselling services. Our curricula put 'wellbeing' and 'engagement' into focus to ensure academic success. We believe that when a person does good deeds then they do well in their lives.
As a multi-curriculum school, our diversity is an intrinsic part of our culture. The strive to bond, understand each other and work together. We build intercultural awareness and global mindedness. Students, teachers, and community come together from all backgrounds to collaborate in events and activities that promote this multi-cultural empathy and celebrate our diversity. These opportunities, present on a daily basis, are also seen in our whole-school events such as: International Day, World Peace Day, Autumn Festival, Christmas Bazaar, Chinese New Year and Europe Day.
With 3 languages of instruction - 55 nationalities represented - we have diversity in our language, culture, ethnicity and experiences. These ensure our students understand more about the world around them with real empathy for its peoples.
