Last Friday we celebrated Earth Day in school. Earth Day is an annual, worldwide event that is officially held on the 22nd of April. The purpose of Earth Day is to raise awareness of the need to protect the earth's natural resources for future generations and to honor the achievements of the environmental movement. At TES, we started the day by listening to Louis Armstrong's Wonderful World over the school tannoy system! Each teacher shared a story with their class that celebrated our earth and raised environmental awareness. Some classes took part in making land art out of natural resources. Check out the pictures to see their beautiful creations!
