Welcome back to term 2. This term PSHE learning across the primary section will cover a whole school unit of Wellbeing and Safety. After a good break it is important to reconnect with each other and consider each other's wellbeing and safety. The units of Wellbeing are taught cross phase. Key Stage One will focus on good and not so good feelings, Lower Key Stage 2 will focus on expressing and managing everyday feelings and Upper key Stage 2 will manage their mental health, challenges and change. Look out for Seesaw activities documenting their understanding.

For Safety learning, all phases will return to a lesson following our Speak Up Stay Safe programme which is an online safeguarding programme for children aged 5- to 11-years-old and aims to help children understand dangers and how to stay safe. Just as the programme name states, it provides children with the skills to Speak Out if they have concerns and talk to trusted adults. Younger children will review the Pants Rule and enjoy the Pantosaurus song.  A great way to keep everyone happy and safe.
