Thank you to all of our staff and students for making this week of digital learning a great success.
BSHS students have been following their standard timetable, with the exception of Key Stage Three Arts and PE. The balance of live teaching via Zoom and time for students to work independently means that students and teachers stay connected and there is the opportunity for students to ask questions and seek guidance.
Most BSHS teachers are working from home, teaching their classes via Zoom and being available online to offer student support. Many of them are doing so with their own families participating in digital learning at home, too.
However, some teachers have been working from their classrooms. Mr Dwyer was working in his Science lab today, filming a practical demonstration to share with his students next week. Ms Liang was busily printing components of the Key Stage Three DELTA projects on the 3D printer, and we know that students will be excited to see their work when they can return to the campus.
Of course, our classrooms just don’t feel the same without our wonderful students. We look forward to welcoming them back!
