Parents
The parent community embodies the values of the school, with parent associations for each section giving their time and effort to organise activities for the students and the community. Friendships are forged between families from all different backgrounds and countries.
Parents' Associations (PA)
The parents play an important role in the life of the school community via the Parents' Associations, which are run for each section of the school. Each group works with the teachers to help to organise class events, section events, charity events to add to the students' experiences. Parents' energy and efforts are a role model to the students for the concept of 'Doing well by doing good'.
Parent Support Council (PSC)
The TES PSC is a unique cross-section Parents’ Association, which embraces the four TES Parents Associations: British Primary, French, German, Secondary and High School. This parent group facilitates the social interaction and community across the four school sections to ensure a 'one school' philosophy. All members are volunteer parents, whose main objective is to support and empower all TES parents to be active in the best interests of their children’s educational lives.
Major Community Events
The PSC proudly organises the major TES annual events: the Autumn Festival in late September, and the Christmas Bazaar which brings the European Christmas atmosphere to the community. The events run with the help of numerous volunteer parents. The money raised goes to back to TES students in the form of supporting student based projects.
The PSC also holds its annual social event – The Gala Evening – where parents, teachers and TES friends meet in an informal social setting.
Participation in the Parents’ Association is open to all TES parents. We are here to listen to you and serve as a liaison between the TES parents body and the school.
