Wellbeing and safety is central to all we do. Safeguarding procedures help to ensure that the children in our care are protected from harm and so we take safeguarding extremely seriously.
National and International Safeguarding Law
TES is aligned with the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child, Taiwan’s The Protection of Children and Youth Welfare and Right Act, The Gender Equity Education Act and recommendations of the International Task Force on Child Protection.
Safeguarding is the Responsibility of All
All individuals and groups affiliated with the school community, including staff, service and activity partners, volunteers, associated agencies, interns, contractors, guests, parents and visitors, are expected to act with integrity and to take responsibility for keeping students safe. In keeping with this expectation, applicants for positions at the School must be willing to undergo child protection screening appropriate to the post, including checks with past employers.
TES Strives to be a Safe Haven for Children in which All Stakeholders are:
